1.What is ÁllatiMenhelyek.hu?
- ÁllatiMenhelyek.hu is a digital intermediary platform connecting animal shelters with people looking to adopt a pet.
- The platform does not own any animals; adoption decisions are made solely by the individual shelters.
2.Who can use the platform?
- You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of your legal guardian).
- You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3.Payments & Platform fee
- All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We never store your card details.
- A transparent 5% platform fee is added on top of each payment and shown as a separate line item at checkout, so you always see exactly how much goes to the shelter.
4.Subscriptions
- Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month.
- You can cancel at any time from your Profile → Subscriptions page.
- You receive an automatic Stripe invoice by email for every billing cycle.
5.Right of withdrawal & Refunds
- Subscriptions: you have 14 calendar days from activation to withdraw without giving a reason and receive a full refund, provided you have not used the service.
- One-time donations are voluntary and non-refundable. In case of a technical error, contact info@allatimenhelyek.hu within 5 business days.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
6.Governing law & Disputes
- These Terms are governed by Hungarian law.
- Disputes are resolved first through friendly negotiation, then by competent Hungarian courts.
